  I have been a Christian almost all my life. I have been going to Legacy Church for a little over 3 years now and my husband and I have never missed a tithe. I actually like the idea of the mother's room. I guess Im in the minority on this one. Its a peaceful place that was built with care and is well stocked for the needa of my 5 month old little boy. I dont have to worry about his cries disturbing the other parishioners. My husband also sits with me so we are able to sit as a family buuuuuut...todays sermons left me with a heavy heart. Here are a few of the things said by Pastor Steve in his Sermon that I am struggling with..."ladies your man only wants 3 things on Fathers Day, Dont step on front of the television while hes watching it, for you to serve him chicken wings and show up completely naked....sounds pretty chauvinistic to me....but I let that slide even though it was completely inappropriate to say those things when we should be hearing the word of God; at least that why I showed up to church....for the word. Then he proceeds to say " Legacy is a man's church." That hurt my heart and made me feel about 1 inch tall in comparison to my husband. Now luckily have a husband that treats me as his equal and we get along famously due to the mutual respect we give eachother. This is not always the case for all women. Somw women, yes, even some Christian women have husband that are abusive and I believe that just reinforces thier belief of being superior to thier wives. Pastor steve prides himself on being very much a man...yes Pastor WE get it....you have a wiener....you are a MAN man...now can we pleasw get back to the word of God. Also, Pastor Steve, I would lovs to have been a fly on the wall at your house after your manly sermon...I bet Cynthia had a thing or two to say about your Father's Day requirements. Oh and by the way Legacy I am not using my married name for this post so dont bother looking on your tithing registry to see who I am.

  I love this church we come here we were married here my daughter comes to school here very amazing PASTOR Steve!!!! I recommend this church to everyone there so nice and helpful as well as welcoming!!!!!!

  I really like Legacy church for the reason that the word of God is Not compromised and you truly could feel the Holy Spirit of God's presence while the preaching is going I hold no man above God I hold no church above God but I know the word of God is preached there at Legacy you should really give it a try

  Out of all the churches here in albs, when I really needed help. They took me in, prayed for me. I have felt a lot of concern for my faith and life from them. They prayed for me. They told me to be strong. And I tell you, something in this world doesn't want me to go to church there. When I go, I leave strong. Blessed. Happy. Good. I would recommend those who are in fear for their soul, life and fears to go to this church. It has helped me a lot. God bless you guys that helped me out. It really means a lot, from the bottom of my heart. Amen
