I haven't been a customer but a huge billboard saying ":'(" is TACKY! Bad form.

While attending a French funeral for my fellow coworker of the past 18 years, I received the most disrespectful, uncompassionate treatment I ever have in my life. I arrived early to the funeral to see if I could be of any assistance to my friend’s family. Some of the chairs were not set up yet and so I decided to ask a nearby French worker if there was anything I could do to help out and ensure everything was ready to go, and he very abruptly replied, “No, now please get out of the way so we can get things set-up”. I was taken back by his tone of voice which relayed just how much I had “annoyed” and “inconvenienced” him by speaking to him. I responded by saying that I was sorry that I had bothered him and that I was just trying to help, with which he replied, “I realize you are just trying to help, but your help is just going to slow us down and screw things up for our tight schedule.” I was so shocked by the disrespectfulness he displayed to me that I didn’t quite process it all at the moment. I have been to quite a few French funerals for friends over the years and had never experienced anything less than professionalism and respect from their workers, so I thought to myself that I simply had just experienced a run-in with a new entry level worker that had not yet been trained on how to interact and treat people (let alone grieving people). As the service starts, you can imagine my horror when this young man turns out to be the funeral director for the service! After the service, I made it a point to find out his name and had partial success. Apparently his first name is Chris. I am less certain of his last name as the French worker I talked to concerning him said it was “yogee” which doesn’t even sound like a real name, but that is what the other worker was telling me at least.

Had the most disgusting experience at a French funeral…got hit on by one of their workers after the service! The creeper, Chris Yogi, seriously asked me for my number, at a funeral! What kind of company hires people that would do stuff like that? Definitely will be looking for a different funeral company for when my family members pass away, so that I won’t have to worry about having my friends and family getting hit on by French employees.

Why does the picture on their home page look like an older woman with a big smile while the man she is with is having a heart attack?
